The procedure for canceling the mobile phone line is as follows. Please note that once the procedure is completed, you will not be able to communicate immediately.

On the other hand, in MNP transfer with immediate cancellation (disconnected MNP), an MNP reservation number is issued after canceling the current mobile phone line. With this method, you will not be able to use the mobile phone service at the time of completion of the procedure, but if you make a new contract with another carrier using the reservation number within the valid period, you can continue the mobile phone number at the time of cancellation.
In the past, docomo had accepted MNP procedures involving immediate cancellation only at docomo shops, but with this initiative, it is now possible to do it at My docomo as well. The procedure is as follows.

However, with this method, if a new contract with another carrier is not completed within the period of the reservation number, the relevant You will "lose" your phone number. Unless there is a serious problem, we recommend the normal MNP procedure.
